As I make my rounds to all the businesses in my neighborhood, today I came across Old Fashion Donuts. This quaint establishment was being manned by a very sweet (pun intended) young lady behind the counter. She was very patient with me as a tried to figure out my ‘tap to pay’ iPhone feature. I thoroughly enjoy my donuts and coffee as I also met a very nice older couple doing the same. I know I’ll be back! It was all very good!!

On family vacation/spring break looking for donuts and google donuts shops, we picked old fashioned bc we prefer to support family owned businesses. Good selection of donuts and breakfast sandwiches. Very friendly service, good location with plenty of parking. Old fashioned was further away from our hotel but worth the extra miles. We'll be customers again next time visiting san antonio

Don't bother going anywhere else! I have to tell you. Tara and her dad are amazing, they are so accommodating and kind. I love coming here. This place is by far the best donut place in town hands down!!! you won't be disappointed. I just wish they would make more sour cream donuts and they were open a little la ter hours. But other than that, it's a great place to go, just save some for others 🥲

Wonderful to visit this donut shop for a sweet treat! The saleswoman up front is so nice and sweet. You can tell this place is a local favorite. Love the blueberry donuts, the variety of croissant wraps and kolaches! There are 3 tables and seats to enjoy your coffee and confections there too.

Really love this place! The staff are really nice and their food even nicer! I am glad I took the time to go and try this place out. There drive through survice was quick and thorough. I had ordered a egg sandwich for breakfast and two kolachies for later (later came fast) and they where delicious, the breads was soft and buttery, the eggs in my sandwich where not overly salty or over/undercooked. They where perfectly flavourful! And the meat in my kolachies was yummy as well. As for the fruit kolachies (yes fruit kolachies) I can honestly say that I wish I had bought more to share. My favorite is the cream cheese and the apple kolachi (I have no clue if I am spelling this correctly), I do recommend that if you decide to get a fruit kolachi, to not eat anything sweet or with bread for the rest of the day, those things are delicious and pack a punch. The only real problem I have is that this place is a little out of the way and if you're not careful you can pass it pretty easily if you're not paying attention to where you're going, otherwise I definitely recommend this place. 👍
